Luigi Isolabella is a criminal lawyer and a partner in Studio Legale Isolabella, which was founded by his father Lodovico in the 60’s, and specializes in corporate criminal law. In this area of expertise, Mr Isolabella has defended clients in numerous proceedings involving charges of false reporting, market manipulation, accounting fraud, bribery, corruption, malfeasance, receipt and illegal exportation of cultural assets.
Over the years, Mr Isolabella has developed a significant expertise in medical malpractice, representing hospital executives, individual doctors and hospitals as a whole. He has frequently provided advice on compliance with workplace safety and corporate liability requirements (under Legislative Decree n. 231/2001).
Mr Isolabella has participated and lectured as a keynote speaker at conferences and seminars about crimes against the Public Administration, corporate crimes, tax crimes and crimes specific to medical malpractice. Mr Isolabella is a professor on the Corporate Law Master Program organized by the SOLE 24 Ore, as well as in the Medical Liability Master Program held at the University of Milano. He has published numerous articles and books on the subject of medical malpractice.
Matteo Pozzi is a criminal lawyer. He has been a lawyer at Studio Legale Isolabella since 2004. He works mainly in the area of corporate law and criminal liability in medical malpractice.
Matteo mainly works as a defence attorney representing managers and leading Italian and foreign companies providing advice to his clients on compliance with Italian Law. He has defended clients in numerous proceedings involving bankruptcy and corporate charges; he has also defended doctors in many medical malpractice trials. Alongside colleagues Matteo works with various businesses including: IRCCS, Banks, Investment Funds, Pharmaceutical Companies, Insurance Companies and Brokers.
In recent years, he has also specialized in the liability of corporations, taking part in the drafting of Model 231 for both banks and industrial companies, and even companies with head offices abroad.
Currently he is an external member and consultant in several supervisory bodies- mostly in Banks belonging to international groups and SGR.
Mr. Pozzi frequently lectures as a keynote speaker at conferences, seminars and on Master programmes specifically on criminal liability of individuals and administrative liability of companies. He is also a member of the International Association of Young Lawyers.
