Pedro Da Silva Neves

PEDRO DA SILVA NEVES is the founding partner of NEVES Avocats.

He graduated from the University of Geneva and began his career in the legal department of the Geneva Tax Authority.

In 1999, he joined Keppeler & Associés, a reputable Geneva-based law firm, where he practiced until 2013.

PEDRO DA SILVA NEVES gained extensive experience notably in white collar criminal litigation, all forms of commercial disputes and immigration law.

He specializes in the field of international legal assistance in criminal matters, where he appeared in cases involving various European, Latin American and Asian countries.

PEDRO DA SILVA NEVES also advises individuals, corporations and government bodies (consulates and missions) in various fields of Swiss law, such as contract law, labour law and family law.

He is an Arbitration Practitioner certified by the Swiss Arbitration Academy.

In 2017, PEDRO DA SILVA NEVES founded the Brazil-Switzerland Chamber of Commerce – CHamBR – to promote trade and social relations between the two countriers, to develop the business environment of the respective expatriate communities and to encourage scientific, educational and sports cooperation between public and private institutions in Switzerland and Brazil.

PEDRO DA SILVA NEVES is also a member of the Geneva Bar Association, the Swiss Bar Association and the Swiss-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce.

Nicolas Pozzi

Nicolas Pozzi holds a double Degree in Economics and Law from the University of Geneva, as well as a LL.M. in American Law from Boston University School of Law. He was admitted to the Geneva Bar in 2000.

He began his career with a reputable Swiss law firm in Geneva in 2002. He dealt with all civil, criminal, administrative and regulatory aspects of banking, commercial and financial cases. He was part of the legal team who obtained the highest compensation for a public entity in a banking law related case in Switzerland.

In 2006, he integrated the legal department of one of the largest Swiss banks. He worked first in Geneva, then in Luxembourg and Zurich. He was a member of the task force which handled all Madoff fraud related cases (internal investigations, civil, criminal and regulatory litigations) and has been directly involved in the management of cases with pronounced cross-border / multi-jurisdictional aspects.

In 2013, he joined the Governance and Transverse Projects department of the Swiss affiliate of a global French banking institution. He then participated in the implementation of the US FATCA law, of the Automatic Exchange of Information in tax matters as well as in the management of the entity’s cross-border framework. He was also a member of the task force in charge of the US Program for Swiss banks.

Nicolas Pozzi is a Fulbright Fellow and a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar (2001). His working languages are French, English and German.
